Kaya’s debut album ‘Balloon in a Cactus Field’ will be released on 24th November 2008. It will be available from all good download stores and by mail order through the Ultimate Fake Records shop. The CD version includes the bonus a capella track ‘Drinking Game’. Fans of Kaya’s quirky yet no-nonsense style will appreciate the quality of her perfomance and the depth of her insight.
The album will be officially launched at 7pm on Thursday 20th November at the Novas CUC in Liverpool, as part of the Nordic International Cultural Event (NICE08).

Kaya has recently supported Noah and the Whale as part of Liverpool Music Week 2008, and will be appearing at the Liverpool Carling Academy on Saturday 29th November.
