On 3rd July Ultimate Fake Records hosted a launch party for the Liverpool Music Today CD, released the previous Monday 30th June, at 3345 Parr Street. Thanks to everyone who attended the event, which showcased no less than eight of the acts from the compilation album, including Strawhouses, Lizzie Nunnery and Duncan Stuart. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we’re very grateful to everyone who gave us their support. Thanks to Kaya for taking on microphone duties. The gig included the first public performance of a new song from Mark Jones – very topical and rather funny! It was so good in fact that we’re going to release it as soon as possible.
